Summit Landscapes

If you want good customer care and attention to detail then BEWARE. For nearly 3 years we have been trying to have our decking area and planters properly relaid and mended. The quality of work is really poor and I have submitted videos to evidence this. Even the decking supplier told Summit they had laid the planks incorrectly. The area now looks poor, and despite promises from them to try and put some of the work right, I'm still waiting. This work cost many thousands, so not a cheap job. The total lack of responsibility and appalling customer service is astonishing. I don't like to post bad reviews, but lack of contact on their part has left me no option.

So pleased that i used Summit Landscaping to erect new fencing lay a new resin bound driveway and design and install a new border to the font of my property as the results are outstanding. The whole experience from discussing the initial quote and design to completion of the work was handled in a very professional and stress free manner.

From the moment Iain turned up to talk through my ideas and give me a quote, right the way through to the finished job I have been extremely happy with my decision to go with Summit Landscapes for our new block paving drive. I did get a couple of cheaper quotes, but I had more questions than answers after those companies left and didn’t receive anything in writing. After a very detailed conversation with Iain and measuring up, a day or so later I received a fully itemised quote, so I was immediately reassured I was dealing with a professional business. The team that arrived to carry out the job, Mike and Aaron, were fantastic, both very courteous and friendly. Mike was especially good at keeping me informed on their progress and making sure I was happy with each stage of the job. When a couple of unexpected changes were required to the original quote Mike took the time to talk through options and give his opinion on what would give the best result. The nature of the job meant that the entire front of our house was the site and so they had to cope with my family coming and going during the day, deliveries and using the road for storage and sometimes needing to block the pavement. Friends and neighbours that I have spoken to have all commented on how friendly Mike and Aaron were and how tidy the site was left every evening. Not a single complaint from anyone on the street. I couldn’t be happier with the quality of the work and now have a drive that was better than I imagined. I would 100% recommend Summit Landscapes and if I have any future landscaping projects, they would be the first people I call.

My wife and are absolutely delighted with our new-look back garden from Summit. Having had our front garden repaved by them last year - and being highly-satisfied with the results - this year we engaged them to completely make-over the back garden. We worked with Ed, the designer, to convert our original design ideas into a complete plan incorporating decking, sandstone paving, a pergola, new trees, bedding, timber sleepier hard landscaping and a new lawn. Ed and his team were brilliant, putting in so much work but also bringing the benefit of their experience and their skill to make the whole thing 'work'. It wasn't cheap! This was a significant investment for us but the end result is something we are really proud of and know we will enjoy for many ear to come.

Late review but Summit Landscaping did an incredible job on our front garden. We had it turfed with new flower beds put in and planted. They consulted us on the details along the way and checked in with us to make sure that we were happy. The guys were lovely to deal with and very conscientious. We are absolutely thrilled with the end result and would definitely use the company again.
