Matt replaced the old wooden fence on one side of my house, using concrete posts and gravel boards with wooden panels. The quoted cost was very reasonable. He did a clean and professional job, keeping me posted on any issues. He was also very amicable as a person and tidied up well after the job, which he worked hard to complete within the timeframe agreed.

Matt helped manage and assist with multiple trades for a full office refurbishment. It was a 6 week project with a tight deadline and not only was Matt's own work essential to the job, he also linked in numerous other trades thanks to his wealth of contacts.

Matt has built and fitted a new gate and side panel. Fantastic work and really good communication throughout the job. Will definately be in touch to get more work done. Thank you

Unfortunately after trying to resolve this issue we are left with no choice but to do this review, we have tried to resolve this directly with Matt but he just deflects constantly and attempts to make it appear he is resolving but actually not actions follow. He quoted over £2000 to pre prep all walls in 2 small box rooms and one slightly larger room, followed by wallpaper in 2 of the rooms and painting the smallest room. This was accepted even though it’s expensive for the rooms it was presumed a good job would be done and there for was worth the cost. Several delays were made by Matt for personal reasons one of which a bereavement which was totally understandable the others varying from ill health to didn’t have the equipment needed etc in total he attended not even for half the time he was meant to, one of the delays was due to damp on the wall. We can make this even more personal but at this point I’m choosing to keep this strictly to the workman ship depending on how he follows this up. There was no pre prep work done no filling no sanding of which was agreed and very much necessary as the walls were uneven. The smallest room was painted in green as agreed but looks no better than a DIYer has done it, he said it needed to be finished but he was asked to leave in the end after messing around with time and the work was bad so the trust had gone to do a good job. As after all you wouldn’t fill and sand after youve already painted so ?? The second room was papered with lining paper almost every drop has ripples in it which would have been viseable before it dried and no body corrected it. Then painted over so again there was no intention of resolving this, his excuse was that the walls were poor to work on, they shouldn’t have been as he had been paid to resolve that first hand. Third room was never touched as he and his team were asked to leave, no refund has ever been offered only disrespect and deflection. He has threatened to blackmail us to avoid this but we aren’t about to be bullied into staying quiet ! I believe this man to be skilled in outside work and from all the positive reviews that’s shows but unfortunately that’s not the case for decorating or at least on this occasion, we’ve simply asked for a refund and he will not act on it. It’s not fair for our mother to have to spend the same money again to have another company come re do the work he has completed and finish what he hasn’t completed but has taken money for ! He has asked us for a further £350 for the room he hasn’t done somehow justifying that as he hasn’t had it he is owed and somehow now the victim, he advised we go through trading standards which we will and suggested we go to a small claims court, she doesn’t have the money to take him there and he knows this. Sadly this is now our only option to hope he has a shred of integrity and refunds her so she can get the work done properly

Within less than 24hrs from the initial contact, Matt came out to the property to give a quote for a hedge reduction and waste removal - making sure to talk me through the different options and followed up with a message to confirm the details. The work carried out was great and communication was fantastic throughout the whole process, would definitely recommend!

Very happy with the quality of workmanship done by Matt and his colleague. Erecting 9x 6ft fence panels which was done with care and attention to detail, on a very very hot day!!! Matt kept in contact throughout the work in a polite manner , great job, well done ,thank you .

Matt has done a fantastic Job of my hedge . I contacted him and he was very prompt at getting back to me . He could fit me in same day which was a bonus and kept in touch via messages . Matt was polite and helpful and I highly recommend . Thanks Matt
