Delighted to have used Edinburgh Gardeners & Landscapers who provided a prompt quote, turned up on the specified date and completed the project on schedule (even though I added a couple of modifications to the design !). The work involved renewing a couple of large ‘sleeper’ beds (double height & stepped), installing a small patio and framing out some external drainage pipes. The guys were friendly and polite, extremely neat and tidy throughout the project (even though the weather was not always kind and we’re a terraced house) and also willing to make helpful design suggestions. I’d have no hesitation in recommending this company and they’ll certainly be the first we shall call for any future work.

We needed our garden renovated after some building works had left it in a mess, plus some paving repaired and extended. Found Edinburgh Gardeners & Landscapers to be very reliable and good to work with. Very happy with the result and the experience overall.

Correcting the disasters from previous landscapers was ideal. The path down and the lower step have made such a difference. Work all round including the intuitive additional paving for my outside storage was a nice touch. Very pleased with extra paving along the border with neighbour as another finishing touch.

Shaun and his team have done a beautiful job of restoring our back garden to a place I can grow plants in. They removed artificial grass and replaced it with a lovely mix of ground level and raised beds along with a paved area which matches beautifully with our existing patio. The only access to the garden is through the house and it was clear that they are well practised at moving equipment and materials through in the minimum time and making no mess. They are very professional and friendly to deal with. I am very happy with the whole experience and the resulting garden.

First, Shaun and his team were a joy to have around: happy, positive-minded and clearly enjoying their work. Second, together we came up with a lovely and practical design to reconfigure a derelict garden – with Shaun’s good ideas greatly improving my own initial thoughts. Third, the work was done on time and on (a fairly tight) budget. Fourth, throughout, Shaun was generous with his advice. Overall, a hugely enjoyable and successful project.

This is the second time I have used Shaun and his team at EGL to landscape our garden. First time, they did a great job on our back garden. This time, they have done an equally good job on our front garden. I would have no hesitation using them again...wait...I don’ t have any more gardens...but you know what I mean. I would happily recommend EGL to anybody looking for a professional, knowledgeable, skilled, trustworthy, passionate and friendly team of people to landscape their garden. Shaun listened to our requirements, helped clarify our muddled thinking, offered different design ideas and helped clarify our thinking again to agree the final design. He then worked with his team to create our new front garden in the timeframe he gave and to the cost he quoted. We are once again very pleased with the professionalism of the service, the quality of the workmanship, the diligence of the team and the layout of our garden.

Shaun and his team did a brilliant job with our back garden, we're delighted and recommend them highly! We explained what we would like and Shaun had great ideas on how to achieve it. He spoke us through his ideas, drew up options and brought samples to help us decide on a design. When undertaking the job the team were all really lovely and completed the job professionally with no bother at all. The garden is now better than we imagined and finished to a very high standard.
