Greengrass - Ipswich Lawn Care & Gardening Specialists

Overpriced, poor accounts process, ignored emails/comms, poor results. Avoid!

I needed serious help with my large garden which had got out of control over the last two years due to my age. I was impressed by Greengrass’s website and booked their team for a day. Two very nice guys arrived, Ollie and Dylan, who were not at all fazed by all the work necessary which calmed my anxiety. They went straight to work after discussing my needs and the transformation is incredible - many old trellis panels and all prunings and rubble were taken away leaving my garden neat and tidy with all beds and borders edged neatly and paths cleaned and defined beautifully, and all with a kindness and care I was so very grateful for. Nothing was too much trouble for Ollie and Dylan and I have no hesitation in recommending Greengrass Ltd.

Nick’s team (Sean and Matt) came and removed the substandard lawn laid previously by our builders. They then added topsoil and turf to give us a super flat high quality lawn. They were friendly and very professional and kept everywhere clean and tidy. Finished off by giving excellent advice re ongoing care. All our dealings with Greengrass throughout the planning and booking process have been good. Highly recommend.

I was extremely pleased with the work the two operatives completed within the front and back gardens. Nick had asked me to provide photos of the trees/shrubs etc that needed attention and the guys who came knew more or less what was required and took time to walk round to confirm with me exactly what i wanted. Very knowledgeable and professional in their approach. They both took pride in their work and they cleared and cleaned as they went. I will definitely use the company again in the future, as i am unable and unwilling to climb ladders and prune large trees and shrubbery with the expertise this company has. I'm super delighted with the work done by Greengrass. I had a huge pile of dirt left over from a pond that was dug and everything was cleared away and the site left totally level. Also shrubs trimmed and all clippings taken away. I've used this company twice now and although they are expensive, they are well worth the money.

Greengrass worked with me over a six month period to clear and re-plant a completely derelict garden. The Director, Nick, was unfailingly contactable and helpful, while their operatives were hard working and professional at all times. From clearing waist high brambles, through removing tonnes of topsoil and scrub, to planting trees and preparing and turfing the new garden, they were unfailingly professional, with well maintained and appropriate plant and equipment. The site was always left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.

A massive thank you to Nick's team, Shaun and Ben. We are so pleased with the quality of the work produced. The property we purchased had been standing empty for a considerable time and the garden was in a desperate state. Thanks to all their mowing, digging, weeding, etc. I now have what actually looks like a garden. My husband's first word when he saw the results ..... "Wow". We will definitely be using their services again, and I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Greengrass.
