I have used Maxwells for a while now! It’s a bit out of the way for him but I was lucky in that he has another bigger garden in Northumberland so it made sense for him to do mine! Couple of months ago I put weed and feed on ( without consulting Rob) thought it would be fine not that it really needed it but I succeeded in effectively burning the grass it was terrible! Extensive patching! After telling Rob he popped over and gave me advice pointed out the reason and explained the treatment process! He applied a granular treatment and was very clear that it would take a bit of time! Two and half weeks in and I could see the difference! I followed his instructions re watering and maintenance.Rob came back and applied further treatment and gave a cut then we went onto a weekly mow and further treatment! He was good with me as I usually like a quick fix as I’m away with work etc but he was very realistic and told me that it wouldn’t happen overnight but would be a long term benefit! Here I am two months later grass is fantastic not quite there but looking good healthier and greener! Patched reducing well ! Chuffed. Firstly a real professional who gave sound advice! Secondly managed me well and I now know to listen to Rob’s advice, grass care is not my day job it’s his and he is one of the best ! my compliments! Rob is former military and you can tell, his business and the way he conducts himself is exceptional and in today’s world this is very refreshing! Punctual efficient and his communication is great ! If he says he will be there at 9 he will be there at 5 to 9! Crystal clear and he is quite good crack as well! I don’t leave many reviews but sometimes someone is really worth it! Thankyou Rob very much appreciated! Kettle will be on next time !

Been using Maxwells for a few years now & the grass looks great. I recently added the lawn treatments & it’s made a huge difference to texture and colour . Been dealing with Rob for a while now and his service is very professional (second to none) he is so knowledgeable about the best treatment for your lawn. I would highly recommend this service 👍🏻

I am very pleased with the service provided by Maxwells, I have had problems with my lawn and wanted to get that green lush look which was sadly lacking ☹️ I had tried off the shelf treatments to no avail but after contacting Maxwells ‘Rob’ messaged me attended promptly, was very knowledgable and professional, we agreed a price which I was very pleased with and he went about treating my lawn with care and professionalism and what a difference, it looks great!! I would highly recommend 👍

Would highly recommend this company. Maxwells came to my house when they said they would, examined my lawns and explained what the issues were. They then explained what treatments were required and later sent me a quote which i was happy with. They reattended and applied a weed spray to certain weed areas in my lawn and then a granular feed. About 10-12 days later the weeds were gone and the lawn was a better greener colour. Looking forward to my next lawn treatment visit

'Expensive granular treatment... which does not work'. Last month, I contacted Maxwells Lawn Treatments and Cutting Services to request a quote. Little did I know then, that the sole proprietor, Mr Wileman, boasts to his Youtube followers, that he 'vets his potential customers to see if he is prepared to 'take them on' '. Following Mr Wileman's first visit, I received an unnecessarily long text message setting out his treatment 'Schedule', which included four treatments. The cost of his service was higher than his competitors, however, given the reviews on Google and his apparent passion for grass treatment, I asked him to care for my lawns. He told me that he was not someone who walks away from an issue and would always return if there was a problem with his "expensive quality granular treatment". That gave me further assurance and confidence. I then received a further lengthy, and this time rather patronising, message which concluded by telling me how he was 'super busy' and questioned whether I wish to proceed. Against my better judgement, I decided I wanted him to treat my lawns. Mr Wileman attended, on 20.6.24, and applied the first treatment. He was at the property, applying the treatment, for 21 minutes [360 square metres- 3 x lawns]. He was paid prior to leaving. After he left, I was then sent a message which thanked me for payment, confirmed I would see a 'colour and quality change in 10 days' and asked me to refer a neighbour or friend for a reduced priced future treatment. Thereafter, I received another text message saying he had 'under estimated the quote' and that I should find another company to 'help me on my Lawncare journey'! Given the way that he apparently conducted his business I was more than happy to do so. However, ten days elapsed after the expensive granular treatment had been applied and not only was there no colour, or quality, change in my rear lawns, the grass looked in worse condition, despite cutting and watering it, entirely in accordance with Mr Wileman's advice. I accordingly contacted Mr Wileman to ask him to come and remedy the situation, however, he completely ignored the request which sums up this man/ his company. Quite happy to take your money and then do nothing to put things right when his 'expensive' product fails/ has no effect.
