We booked the Yard Squad to renovate our 100ft long back garden. It was a large job with old concreted areas, paths and fencing being removed and replaced, and a new area of fencing, as well as a patio, pergola and raised flower bed being added. Right from the very first meeting with Darryl and Will to gather our ideas for the initial quote, they were professional and friendly with lots of good advice on the best way to achieve our vision. Even though I moved the goalposts several times before and during the work, they were very patient and nothing was too much trouble. Will and Josh worked so hard to remove our old garden completely and create the new one. It took 10 days with pretty much continuous rain so was not ideal weather for having to dig everything out but they carried on without complaint. All my "can you just....." requests were met with a smile and they did the tweaks that were asked for even when they were busy with everything else. They definately went the extra mile. We are really happy with the transformation of our garden and can't wait to start using it (if the rain ever stops!). We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Yard Squad for any garden work you need, and we would definately book them again.

Daryl gave a detailed quote. The work by was completed to a great standard. There were a couple of unforeseen issues but explanations and apologies given. Garden and driveway left clean and tidy. Not the cheapest but very happy with the result.

We had wanted some pleached trees with raised bed at the end of our garden to give some privacy. Will gave us great confidence from his initial visit with his obviously extensive knowledge. Between him and Daryl, The Yard Squad were able to propose a design which gave us what was needed while taking into account the clay soil and gentle slope which gets extremely wet over winter. They were extremely easy to deal with, and tweaked the design several times to address our needs and any concerns we raised. Nothing was too much trouble, and when it came to doing the actual work the end result was fantastic. Will actually ended up staying late into the evening to finish the job which was disrupted by the weather. The Yard Squad are highly professional and carry out work to a high standard. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I recently had my front garden transformed by The Yard Squad and couldn’t be happier with the result. From the start they were professional, transparent and extremely thorough. Their quote was one of the most detailed I’ve received for home improvement work, clearly setting out exactly what was included so there were no hidden costs or surprises. Communication throughout the job was excellent. They took time to discuss options, explain the process and kept me updated as the work progressed. The preparation, steel edging installation and gravel finish were all completed with great care and attention to detail. The finished result looks clean, modern and very professionally done, and it has completely improved the look of the front of the house. The team also left everything tidy and clearly take real pride in their work. In fact, I was so impressed that I’ve already booked them again for a much larger and more complex rear garden project.
