Households wanting unruly plots brought back into shape form the core of the work APGardeningMaintenance takes on, a theme running through accounts of the service. Reviewers describe Andy or Andrew replying promptly to requests, often visiting to give a quote before completing hedge cutting, weed clearance and full garden tidy-ups, sometimes within hours of first contact. Fair and transparent pricing comes up repeatedly, with quotes held to as agreed. His courteous manner and that of his colleague are widely noted, along with a readiness to hear what customers require and offer sensible suggestions.

Tidiness is another recurring point, with all green waste cleared away and borders, lawns and hedges left neat and properly cared for. Communication remains consistently praised, from returned calls and messages to arriving at the arranged time, and one regular client books him every few weeks for ongoing upkeep. Extra work at a pub garden is also mentioned, while the reasonable rates encourage repeat custom and referrals. Several customers note that he tends both their own and a relative's garden, a point that underlines how the same standard is applied across different plots.
