Pinewood Landscapes

The work included widening and re-laying of our drive with block stone edges and a smooth stone infill. Other work included relocating the City Fibre cable and adjusting the height of the paths adjoining the drive to avoid trip hazards. We greatly appreciated the advice from the owner, Mark Lewendon, in the design and layout aspects of the project and the high quality of the work carried out by Pinewood Landscapes.

The overhauling works of the front yard and backyard at my home were done by Pinewood Landscapes Limited Company (“Pinewood”). The works included fence rebuilt, all-trees-removed, lawn rebuilt and all-new-patio. Mark, who is the director of Pinewood, is very friendly and professional. I was impressed by his professionalism when I first met him for quotation because of his very friendly attitude and professional advices to me. He took down all the details I requested and offered me explanations and suggestions about which parts that I should take or which works were not neccessary, which helped me save some money. For example, I originally wished to have a two-foot-wide gravel edge adjacent to the house wall removed and replaced by patios; Mark gave me professional opinion explaining that the gravel edge serves the good purpose of water drainage and I shall keep it and save money for other works. I was provided with a very detailed quotation within one week. The craftsmanship of Pinewood is excellent. I needed to install a new 30 feet long fence at my backyard. Mark’s team made a very decent fence with each concrete pole perfectly vertical and the top line of the fence is perfectly horizontal. The finishing of the Indian sand stone patios were very neat and orderly. Overall, Pinewood had done a very good job to my front yard and back garden. Moreover, as my cat is used to living in the backyard and therefore I must have the backyard works completed before moving in so that my cat didn't need experiencing any works in the backyard after moving to a new home. Mark completed all the works in two weeks, which perfectly fitted my schedule of moving in to my new home. I highly praised the fine workmanship of Pinewood. Highly recommend Pinewood to anyone who wishes excellent landscape work at his/her home with a reasonable price.

We used Pinewood Landscapes to remove an old concrete base, install a new patio & fence at the back of our garden. This was a tricky job as we have no side access, so everything had to go through the house and out the front. Mark and the team were exceptional, arrived on-time every-day, good communication, sorted any teething issues and even threw in a couple of extras. The patio looks beautiful. Mark and his team did a fantastic job. Everything was done as quoted. They were prompt and got on with the job in hand. Mark also gave some great advice and saved me some money to do other bits to the garden. I'm so happy we now have an amazing space to use as the garden was in disrepair.

Decay can truly be transformed into something wonderful — and once you see how Mark and his sons work to transform a garden, you will understand exactly what I mean. From removing troublesome bamboo rhizomes, trimming overgrown cypress hedges surrounded by dry weeds, clearing tonnes of soil, to finally laying fresh green turf, it was remarkable to see how Mark’s team managed to transform what felt like a garden abandoned for a century into a bright, spacious, and vibrant outdoor space — all within an incredibly tight schedule. One especially touching moment was seeing how carefully Mark trimmed the trees and managed to preserve a hidden nest of baby birds tucked deep within the branches. That level of care and thoughtfulness says so much about the kind of people they are. Mark and his sons work together as a close and dedicated team. They listened carefully to what we wanted, offered professional advice throughout the project, and gave complete reassurance to those of us who know very little about landscaping and gardening. Even during periods of heavy rain, they continued to work tirelessly and professionally to complete every stage of the project. If you are looking for a landscaper to transform — or create — the garden you have always dreamed of, I would wholeheartedly recommend Pinewood Landscapes without hesitation. Mark (and his very hard working Son) have just completed a fantastic job (first phase of many) in clearing a derelict and neglected garden and bringing in several tonnes of top soil. We have used Pinewood before and we’re keen to use them again. From the star Mark has worked with us providing information so we could make decisions on materials never losing sight of our end goal. Even with some changes and additions midway through the project Mark and his team managed these well. We could see the quality in the work at every stage.
