Rich Green Gardens

Rich and his team have done a fantastic job of transforming our garden from a unusable space to somewhere my family can enjoy. After being let down by our previous contactor, Rich was able to save day quicker than we could have hoped for. Now my young son can enjoy some of the summer in our garden. Matt and Rom were amazing. Extremely hardworking, knowledgeable and their work is of the highest quality. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to improve their garden.

After contacting Rich to help with access across our very boggy garden, he and his team worked their magic. Replacing a poorly laid patio with porcelain, and building an enormous boardwalk across the garden and between our outbuildings. His team were professional and knowledgable, and took the time to get the details right. What a difference they have made. Over the moon with the outcome. I wouldn’t hesitate in asking Rich and his team to do more work if needed.

We have recently had a new conservatory built and originally contacted Rich Green Gardens for a quote to just get a new patio laid. However once Rich saw the potential he shared his ideas with us and we ended up with a far more intensive transformation of our garden than we had envisaged (and budgeted for..!!) No regrets though, and well worth the temporary inconvenience. His team of Toby and Nathan were very attentive - they were always punctual, they respected the neighbours, and nothing was too much trouble. I had to contact Rich 3 weeks after the project completed for advice on some roses and heather which we had asked to be replanted, but which were struggling in their new locations. This wasn’t his fault but no matter - he came round the same day with some replacements and got them planted. This wasn’t necessary, nor expected but is a great example of outstanding customer service. Very happy with the overall service and would happily recommend his services.

Rich was amazing from Day 1! The transformation of my garden is incredible. He listened to what I wanted but also came up with great ideas and an even better result. His team worked so hard round the clock and delivered on time. The cost was what he quoted so no hidden fees. He also cleaned up everything afterwards. I’m so lucky to have found you! The world of landscape gardening is full of people who over-promise and under-deliver. You get glossy brochures and mood boards - but the designs often take no account of your limited budget nor the layout of your garden. After three years of searching for a good designer and contractor, and having been let down 2 years in a row, I hit pay dirt when I got in touch with Rich Green Gardens on the back of a personal recommendation. Rich has created a beautiful space for me, and I’d recommend him without hesitation - not just because of the results (see photos), but because of the following: 1. True “design-and-build” Rich is on top of the whole process end to end. No split between designer and contractor, no disconnect, no stress. He sees the project through from the first sketch to the final sweep-up. 2. He listens and he responds. Rich answers questions promptly and isn’t afraid to say when he thinks a client’s idea won’t work. But any pushback is constructive, and he’ll still look for ways to make things work as the client wants. 3. Great team. Friendly, hardworking, skilled, and professional. Genuinely a pleasure to have Rich’s team on site through out the works — something I’ve never said about construction work before! 4. Pragmatic execution. When issues came up - e.g. space limitations, TPO tree roots, etc. - Rich and his team adapted the design quickly and smartly. That flexibility is rare, and you seldom get it so creatively and seamlessly done. 5. Realistic budgeting and timing. His designs are creative but actually match what you can afford. No fantasy plans. Rich delivered on time and on budget 6. A truly beautiful bespoke result. Rich has created a space that reflects my taste well, but it also stands proud objectively as a beautiful garden. I couldn’t have hoped for more. For all these reasons, I strongly recommend Rich Green Gardens for anyone planning a garden makeover.
