24hrTrees

24hr Trees has been operating in Edinburgh and the surrounding areas for the past 14 years. It originally started as a limited company and later became a sole tradership. Employees are all qualified tree surgeons with relevant NPTC certificates. It is covered by a £5 million public liability insurance policy.

It guarantees all works are carried out to BS 3998 (British Standards) specifications. Its service area is Edinburgh and the Lothians. Team members include Robbie, Callum, Scott, Jack, Sam and John. Its main services are tree removal, tree pruning, stump grinding, hedge trimming and stabilisation of dangerous trees.

In Edinburgh, 24hrTrees has built a strong reputation for tree surgery and garden work, with reviewers consistently highlighting how quickly Robbie responds to enquiries, provides quotes and arranges visits. Customers describe the team arriving on time, communicating clearly while on site and clearing up thoroughly afterwards, leaving gardens and neighbouring areas tidy. Several reviewers mention that Robbie offers honest, knowledgeable advice, explaining whether a tree should be pruned, removed or left alone and how to keep it healthy, rather than simply cutting it down.

One household was particularly pleased when a storm-damaged tree they had expected to lose was saved, and a difficult stump beside a metal fence was removed without any damage. Pruning, removal and planting advice recur among the reports, as does the friendliness of named staff such as Jack. Pricing is repeatedly described as fair, with one customer noting a quote that undercut other firms and another finding the invoice cheaper than skip hire. The team's care, efficiency and attention to detail come through across the accounts, including work on mature trees in shared gardens.
