Its service area includes Newcastle, Gateshead, Hexham, Sunderland, Durham and Northumberland.

Across Newcastle upon Tyne, West Jesmond Tree Surgery has built a reputation for skilled work on substantial garden trees, with reviewers repeatedly noting the expertise of the crews sent out. Customers in several reviews describe mature conifers, willows, beeches and ornamental cherries being thinned, topped, reduced or removed, and the team is commended for shaping trees carefully after confirming what was wanted. Named staff including David, Tommy and Lee are singled out for their friendly and professional manner.

A detail many reviews return to is tidiness: branches are chipped, leaves cleared and gardens left neat, with one customer remarking that no trace of the team remained afterwards. Punctuality and speed also feature, with jobs completed efficiently, sometimes in under two hours, and all debris taken away. Reviewers describe fair and competitive pricing, clear communication from the first enquiry through to completion, and a cheerful, helpful approach even when neighbours raised concerns. The recurring theme is a reliable, skilled service that handles both routine maintenance and the removal of large trees, leaving gardens tidy and customers pleased with the result.
