I have recently had a tree pollarded I was particularly impressed with the thorough nest check carried out before work began . The garden was left so tidy you wouldn’t even know they’d been. Fantastic job
They’ve just cut down a neighbour’s hawthorn tree during nesting season, this tree was constantly full of all types of birds and now they have been disrupted. Shame on Acacia for carrying out this work at this time of the year.

Great company and very professional. They have been involved in tree surgery and other works for around 40 years. They are most likely the best around and even are contracted by council authorities to undertake park and ground works. They certainly know their stuff and are nice people. They did my neighbours garden and will likely be pruning our tree at some point.
Responded extremely quickly when a delivery lorry hit a Weeping Ash tree on our road cracking the branch. Cliff was on site within 30 minutes and offered some pragmatic & helpful advice to save as much of the tree as possible. Would recommend without hesitation.
To counterbalance the two awful reviews so far, which appear to have nothing to do with actual work done! On recommendation from our gardener, Acacia did extensive work for us last autumn, pruning two apple trees and two 30+ year old climbing roses. We were impressed with the obvious knowledge of trees and shrubs displayed by Cliff, who initially visited and discussed the matter with the gardener. We were then slightly disappointed that he could not personally come to instruct his men when they came, but it turned out that the man in charge who did come knew his stuff just as well. They did a perfect job, as we can judge now, almost a year later, having watched the trees and roses behave over the current growing season. They are not cheap, but in our opinion worth the money.
